for ticketing can be
provided with: touch screen, keyboard and pinpad; credit card or other
payment
systems; colour or black and white laser/thermal printers. Some model

have an adjustable arm to meet the needs of people with physical
impairments.

to work in any indoor or outdoor environment: the case can be
ruggedized to
prevent vandal damage; the display can have bonding or advanced optical
enhancements to make it readable in direct sunlight.

kiosk for identity recognition
GDS
presents the most
pioneering kiosk for identity recognition. This kiosk can be used
wherever
there must be a control before providing products with specific law
restrictions (i.e. cigarettes or alcohol). The device is provided with
a webcam
and an identity document scanner. Once the request of the user is
submitted,
the kiosk sends both the webcam image and the picture of the document
to a
remote center. An operator matches the details of the document with the
identity of the person and allows people to receive the product/service
they
asked for.
